Basheret is a professional matchmaking management platform designed for Jewish matchmakers ("shadchanim"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when using the Basheret mobile application and related services.

Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect name, email address, authentication information, and Sign in with Apple credentials when used.
Matchmaking Information
Users may store information related to matchmaking activities, including names, contact information, demographic information, religious background and preferences, family information, matchmaking notes, profile photos, introduction records, and match status information.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate permission to store and manage information about individuals within their matchmaking practice.
Technical Information
We may collect limited technical information necessary for operating the service, including device information, application version, authentication records, error logs, and security logs.
How We Use Information
Information is used solely to provide and operate Basheret, authenticate users, store and organize matchmaking records, generate search and matchmaking assistance features, improve platform reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
Artificial Intelligence Features
Basheret includes AI-assisted search and matchmaking tools. Information submitted through these features may be processed to generate search results, recommendations, insights, or organizational assistance for matchmakers.
AI-generated results are advisory only. Matchmakers remain solely responsible for all matchmaking decisions.
Data Storage
Data is stored using secure third-party infrastructure providers. Reasonable measures are taken to protect stored information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers necessary to operate the platform, when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or the platform.
Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data through the account deletion feature available within the application. Deletion requests are processed as quickly as reasonably possible.
Children's Privacy
Basheret is intended for use by adults engaged in professional or volunteer matchmaking activities. The service is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.
International Users
